Transition Housing
Safe, low-cost transitional houstng with loads of amentities for comfort and stability for women who are transitioning from homelesness, domestic violence, sexual assault, drug abuse recovery and mental health illness
Supportive Services
We offer confidential and client centered services focused on safety, support advocacy, life skills, crisis intervention, self-help groups and skills to enhance critical thinking skills
WHO DO WE SERVE?
This program serves homeless women, battered women, ex-offenders, women recovering from substance abuse and alcoholism, etc. Women must be 21 years and older.
HOW TO APPLY?
An intake must be completed. Once the intake is completed, you will talk to the appropriate Resident Advocacy assigned to the house for consideration.
This program provides low-cost transitional housing and training, focusing on referrals for areas of need and concerns, while empowering the individual to become self-sufficient. The goal in the transitional housing program is to work towards obtaining safe, affordable, permanent housing. Residents may live at the AAEW Sistarz in Transition Homes for up to two years.
